Rëfi-bêyisî Bî (/ˈrëfi/ /bɘˈjisɪ/ [gentle] [compost; fertilizer]) is a subtropical Small Town located in the Ko-13nhun Zone of the Union of Engineers.

The name Rëfi-bêyisî Bî is derived from the Iron Elvish language, as Rëfi-bêyisî Bî was founded by Laergulnith Trtêg̈ga, who was culturaly Iron Elven.

Climate

Rëfi-bêyisî Bî has a yearly average temperature of 24°C (75°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 28°C (82°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a pleasant 21°C (69°F). Overview

Rëfi-bêyisî Bî was founded durring the early 16th century in fall of the year 1508, by Laergulnith Trtêg̈ga. The establishment of the new community went well, with no major obsticles durring construction.

Rëfi-bêyisî Bî was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the early 16th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Rëfi-bêyisî Bî is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature masoned stone construction which prominantly features pointed arches, pointed ribbed vault cielings, flying buttress', and window tracery all of which share a simmilar gemoetetic patern halfway between organic and inorganic in design formaing a very distinct aesthetically integrated style. BUildings tend to reach for the havens, and more expencive homes are easily identified by their floor count as well as the addition of decorative features intigrated into the building's design such as statues, gargoyals, and embelished joinery.

Rëfi-bêyisî Bî is buildings are arranged arrounded a highly ordered system of premissive paverstone streets which form triangular paterns, allowing the incides of the octagons to be common grounds for the buildings on the edges, be it for parkland, yardspace, plazas, or markets. The town is protected by a well-crafted cobblestone fence tall enough to provide adiquite cover for defenders to fire from, but no more than that. Rëfi-bêyisî Bî's frontieer-style defences has sufferd soem light damage, reducing its function a little in some spots, but could almsot certainly preform as expected... Though some of the worse spots could lead to the loss of defenders lives if attackers identified the weaknesses ahead of time.

A quick look in any direction shows Rëfi-bêyisî Bî is filled with vices. There are many taverns, brothels are advertising their services on the streets, cardsharks are plying their illicit trade within public squairs, and every shop has at least three signs advertising various sales on goods. That alone wouldn’t be too noticeable, if it wasn’t just so omnipresent and overwhelmingly how the people of this town live. Or if the general public wasn’t so enthusiastically, openly, and merrily participating in these activities.

Civic Infrastructure

Rëfi-bêyisî Bî has an Office of Civil Vicary, which is responsible for providing a livelyhood for all officialy recognised religious figures within Rëfi-bêyisî Bî.

Rëfi-bêyisî Bî has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain Rëfi-bêyisî Bî's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.

Rëfi-bêyisî Bî has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands.

Rëfi-bêyisî Bî has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.

Cultural Notes

Rëfi-bêyisî Bî's locals are divided into several castes. They may be organized by social role, by imputed nobility of birth, by ethnic origins, or any other dividing principle, but they cannot imagine any other way of organizing themselves. A hierarchy of castes is not inevitable, but there will be social and legal limits applied to ensure that each caste remains fixed in its function. The outside world may or may not respect these distinctions when dealing with the locals.

Rëfi-bêyisî Bî's mayor's house was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used has a sleek, linear appearance with stylized, often geometric ornamentation. The primary facade of its buildings often featured a series of set backs that create a stepped outline. Low-relief decorative panels can be found at entrances, around windows, along roof edges or as string courses. It was best known for its use of smooth finish building materials such as stucco, concrete block, glazed brick or mosaic tile. Decorative details can incorporate various artistic or exotic motifs to suit the building's function or the architect's whim. Chevrons, zigzags, and other geometrical motifs are common forms of ornament.

The Xtabay near Rëfi-bêyisî Bî are known to be almost tame, such that they can be put to domestic use.

Rëfi-bêyisî Bî's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in spring and involves line dance to channel Wild Magic energies of tier 3 via mimery.

History

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the early 2nd century several years of heavy rains culminated in a peculiar disaster. A great hole opened up beneath Rëfi-bêyisî Bî, swallowing large sections of the community. Rëfi-bêyisî Bî lost 128 people, 275 livestock, and 53 buildings in the disaster. This disaster is often refereed to as The Torment Swallowing.
